2015 Winter League Part 2

Information

The Everett YMCA is host to a year-round racquetball league that plays on Friday nights between 6 and 9pm. There are several seasons per year. Ideally everyone gets to play one match per week. The season’s schedule is going to be shorter than they have been in the past, so be sure you can make all of the weeks before signing up.

The basic idea is to provide a competitive, fun environment for people to play racquetball in, improve their skills, and meet other racquetball players in the area.

When: Starts Friday, February 20th. Weekly on Friday Nights until February 13th.

Who: Adults and teens over 14 years old.

If you register on the Y’s page, please forward the confirmation email and let me know what division you’d like to play.

Cost: Free to YMCA members, $23 for Non-Members ($25 Annual Community Membership Required)

Divisions Offered: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert.

Beginners are players who are just learning the rules of the game, and don’t have consistent forehand and backhand mechanics yet.

Intermediate players are familiar with all of the basic rules of the game, but their backhand mechanics and game strategies are still being developed.

Advanced players have solid forehand and backhand mechanics, and are working on mastering their game strategies.

Expert players have got it all down.
