The signup form for the first racquetball singles event of the year, Winter Blast 2009, is now available. No word yet on online signup, although I have emailed the president of the WRA to see if this is planned. If you want to play at this tournament, you’d better snail-mail your entry in soon, as signups close next Saturday!

The next singles event will be the Seattle Open Pro/Am at the Washington Athletic Club in downtown Seattle, February 19th through the 22nd. Many of the top racquetball pros come to this event!

UPDATE:

I just received an email from Neal Haggen, the president of the WRA. He assures me the online signup for the Winter Blast 2009 tournament will be availible soon on the R2Sports website. For those of you who, like me, don’t really like using snail mail to signup for tournaments this comes as very welcome news!

Fran Davis will be bringing her renowned racquetball camp, Building Your Racquetball Dream House, to the Washington Athletic Club on February 6-8, 2009. This is an amazing opportunity to improve your racquetball game. The signup form is here for those of you who are interested. The camp’s instructors are Fran Davis and Jason Mannino. Jason Mannino is one of the top players on the IRT, and does a ton of instruction every year.
